K9 Design owner/groomer, Vania Velotta, is dedicated to providing the opportunity for bright, talented, hard-working people to work in a supportive, cooperative environment where they will be constantly encouraged to learn and grow.

Now Hiring:
Pet groomer
The position is part-time to start, while we build up clientele to support full-time status. Pay will be based on commission with a rate to be determined based on qualifications. Vacation days must be approved but are flexible as long as there is enough notice. We do not offer benefits at this time.

My ideal candidate is:

  • an experienced groomer with a high commitment to quality
  • capable of working independently, but enjoying a cooperative atmosphere
  • available to work weekends on an on-going basis
  • extremely reliable, level-headed, and responsible
  • self-motivated and interested in helping to build a clientele
  • dedicated to continuously learning and growing skills
  • an excellent communicator, both with pets and people
  • able to groom all breeds of dogs as well as cats
  • creative and energetic with an engaging personality!
